2008 Fort Corduroy Jacket
Oakley was founded in 1975 by Jim Jannard, starting with motorcycle grips made from a proprietary rubber that maintained traction when wet. In 1984, Oakley ventured into eyewear, debuting with the "Factory Pilot Eyeshades." In the early 90s, Oakley would start producing clothing & footwear through a line they would call 'Software'. The Software line focused on technical designs, with unique materials that had functional properties.
Fast forward to the early 2010s, Oakley would still produce some of the best functional outerwear, but not under the software line. This ski jacket, releasing in 2008, has an unique pocket system, as well as being made from a nylon/poly/corduroy blend, not commonly seen amongst ski jackets. The jacket is fully waterproof, and features two zip pockets, two zips for ventilation, and a hidden card holder at the chest. The hood is fully removeable, and features snap magnets at the front and rear.
