NEW STRAIGHT JACKET (BLACK W/ GOLD IRIDIUM)
In 1975, Oakley was founded by genius creator Jim Jannard. The company would start by selling motorcycle accessories - created from a rubber material that was created to provide a solution for when wet rubber would loose traction. Oakley would move into creating eyewear in 1984, with the first release of the 'Factory Pilot Eyeshades'.
It wasn't until 1994 that Oakley's infamous 'Jacket' line would release, starting with the Eye Jackets, followed by the Straight Jacket two years later. Both frames were designed by the infamous @peteryeedesign, and were revamped into their 2nd generation in 1999. The Straight Jackets are made from O-matter - a patented Nylon material that is durable, flexible, and sweat resistant. They feature integrated hinges, which allow the carefully designed ear stems to lock into place. Oakley's XYZ Optics give wearers an improvement on peripheral vision & are great at blocking out side splatters of light. the frames also feature the Icon logo on each arm, with a stretch logo printed onto the nose-bridge.
Lenses are in perfect condition, with some fading to the front Oakley script.
